Yes , all people thinks that if you throw something to
a volcano , this item it would be absorbs and melts by the lava , but this
thought is false with the nuclear waste.
Why? Because the lava of a volcano has a maximum of
1316 ºC and the nuclear waste needs a minimum of 1.855 ºC to be absorb and melt
by the heat.
What would happen if we do that anyway? The container
where the nuclear waste it will be molten , but the nuclear waste don't , it
would stay
up , the solid lava , until
anyone move it.
If this nuclear waste stay there until the volcano
start the eruption , it will be a very
important , serious and dangerous problem . Because the magma is hotter than
1855 ºC , the temperature it is needed to nuclear waste be melted , this liquid
nuclear waste join with the lava that go out of the erupted volcano , all the
places near to the volcano will be radioactive for decades , and the air polluted can go 10KM up, until
the stratosphere.
